Enter in Weatherhead: locally grown in Philadelphia, PA - and a band I'm pretty excited about.

Formed back in September of 2014, Weatherhead is an indie rock/piano emo collective that has been working hard on creating their own stellar and unique sound in their scene. Thee band's self-titled debut EP, which was released just a month later, was the beginning of an exciting journey for the band as they spent the next year nonstop touring.

Comprised of members who aren't any older than twenty, this talented crew includes Evan King (guitar, lead vocals), Jordan Lewis (lead guitar, backing vocals), Brendan McGuigan (piano, keyboard, percussion), Nash Helsel (bass), and Joey Ginaldi (Drums).

We spoke with Evan about those early touring days, "Our very first show was a small festival in PA (It's Not A Fest, Fest) with Sorority Noise and Marietta. We've also played a packed house with The Venetia Fair at The Barbary, and shared the stage with Sudden Suspension and Bad Luck. We also do lots of Philly house shows & we played a house show at Temple University with our good friends In Reward, which capped at 200 people."

Over the last two years, Weatherhead has grown a ton and is amping up for their upcoming EP, Cleaner Blood, which comes out on March 11th.
