MISFITS Guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein Announces World Tour

Gearing up for the release of Doyle II: As We Die (available May 5th, 2017), legendary Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein has officially announced the Abominate The World Tour 2017. Starting June first, Doyle will be rocking the continental US until June 29th accompanied by Davey Suicide.

Hailing from Lodi, a small borough of Bergen County, New Jersey, Doyle is revered as the originator of Horror Punk. His first album, Abominator, released under his own label, Monsterman Records, according to Randy Blythe (Lamb Of God) “is a sonically thick and lyrically evil slab of metal that finds Doyle expanding in a logical progression upon the genre of music he helped create.” Fronted by Cancerslug vocalist Alex Story, Doyle’s shows are just as brutal and evil as his recordings, if not more. Alex’s ability to sing and scream, the unmistakeable sound of Doyle’s Annihilator guitar, and aggressive drummer Brandon “The Crusher” Pertzborn (Black Flag) make for a technically proficient and absolutely relentless performance every time.

Be sure to catch Doyle on the Abominate The World Tour 2017.

Alesana Announces 10th Anniversary West Coast Tour

Alesana, the North Carolina-based rock/sweetcore outfit are proud to announce the West Coast leg of their tour supporting the 10th Anniversary of their debut LP On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax. The tour starts in February at the Analog Cafe in Portland, and it should finish up at In The Venue in Salt Lake City.

Alesana will be joined by fellow bands For The Win, Versus, Charlatan, and Vesta Collide on the anniversary tour.

Vocalist/Guitarist Shawn Milke had this to say about the upcoming tour: "The 10 year anniversary tour for On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax is hitting the west coast! Let's travel back in time together, to a day where emo bangs, Chelsea hair cuts, and MySpace ruled the planet. You bring the energy, we'll handle the rest!"

This tour follows the release of the band's first novella Annabel, which came out in August. The book was a collaboration between Shawn Milke and vocalist Dennis Lee, following the story of the band's trilogy of concept albums, The Emptiness, A Place Where The Sun Is Silent, and Confessions.

Milke says: “This story has been a work in progress for nearly seven years. It began when Dennis and I decided to tell our own story through the albums of Alesana. It eventually grew into an album trilogy and now, finally, a short novel. Creating this abstract universe and telling the story of Annabel has been, in every way possible, both challenging and rewarding. It is an accomplishment that still stuns me to this day. Thank you to everyone who has joined us on this journey."

VIP packages for the Anniversary Tour are available at Meet And Scream. Information about the short novel can be found at The Annabel Trilogy.

In 2013, they released their debut Imperialist EP to much praise, and were signed to Imminence Records in 2015. The new LP, Totalitarian, was released this past September.

Mason Blair said this about the upcoming tour: “This is our first tour we have done in the US and we will be playing all new music from our most recent album. Which means we are bringing our heaviest tunes through the west coast, so everyone should be ready to throwdown!”

King Shelter Announce West Coast Tour w/ Sticky Fingers

King Shelter, Orange County's premiere “salad rock” group, are about to undergo a short West Coast tour with Australian band Sticky Fingers. The band is looking forward to this tour to bring their unique sound on the road.

The band has recently released a new music video for their single 'Preoccupy.” You can check that out right here!

Indie Shuffle described the sound of “Preoccupy” as “several familiar pieces of different styles of songs that you're heard before mixed into one song that makes sonic love and produces a pleasantly audible baby.”

King Shelter's whole thesis is that no one person is more important than anyone else, especially in this artistic realm. They aim to make music that stands alongside the people listening, not above them. Hecocks states: “If we want things to be better, then we have to do it. Change happens by people doing things, by people disregarding classes and associations. I want people to see what is important. People are important, art is important, output is important, YOU ARE IMPORTANT."

Here are the tour dates:
9/30/16 @ Teragram Ballroom, Los Angeles, CA | 9pm
10/1/16 @ Rickshaw Stop, San Francisco, CA | 8:30pm
