Chicago’s very own Action/Adventure are here to turn pop punk upside down & right side up with their melodic, passionate vibe. The band is enjoying themselves after their most recent music video release for their track, “Parachute.”

The five piece premiered the track at ThePunkSit - an anthem to the Creatives in the hustle, and damnit we’re listening. Check out the energetic camaraderie of Action/Adventure in their music video for “Parachute,” down below!

“It's about confronting the unknown," says vocalist Blake Evaristo. "It’s really easy to have fears and doubts that prevent you from reaching your desires and goals; however, it takes real courage to attempt a try amongst all odds. We’re at this point in our lives where the band dream is dwindling, but we’ll be damned if we give up without a fight. We hope the video illustrates that. Shout out to all the cast, crew, and friends that made our first video a reality. We can’t thank them enough. We hope people enjoy the song and dig the video."

Recently, the band released their label debut, The Skeleton Key! The band's members are all in the LGBTQ+ community with them hitting the road in a couple of months in promotion of the release. The 12 track record is streaming currently, and witnessed an exclusive Facebook Live Premiere on August 10th!

About the record Darling Waste says, "This album was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. It took four years to write and record, and I almost gave up on it several times. The album weaves in and out of itself lyrically with each song on this album having a companion song as well. This batch of songs tells several stories from the past couple years of my life, written in real time as they were happening.

Sad Vegan Debut New Track

California born & bred quintet, Sad Vegan, have recently shared their brand new, surprisingly upbeat single, "New Years, No Fears."

The newest single from their upcoming debut EP Another Life, Another Day. The track "New Years, No Fears" premiered with Fresh Beats 365 and follows the EP's first single "Palm Trees" (streaming here). The catchy tune is offset by some seedier subject matter, where the perspective of a one night stand is shared from both sides!

Check out "New Years, No Fears," below!

New Years, No Fears is basically about hooking up with someone one last time before deciding that it’s time to settle down and show commitment to someone else and the regret that comes along with doing that,” explains guitarist and vocalist Bailey Blanton. “That incident also happened to take place on New Years Day so the name seemed fitting. My favorite thing about the song is that it switches from the male perspective of the situation to the female’s.

Check out the song above, and then follow Sad Vegan's social media for more on the band and what they're up to!
