Flounder Warehouse Shares 'Better Now' Music Video

28471204_2066288276720362_8964917263073209895_n.jpg

An ode to the freedom of life & love & music is Flounder Warehouses most recent endeavor with their music video, “Better Now.”

The fun loving band has a fun loving track, one that takes on the challenges of happiness, of pursuing something you love no matter what - and we can’t stop listening. The jazz infused pop track is an effortless listen which makes it easy to add to any playlist you’ve got going right now.

Check out the fiery tune devoted to life itself down below!

About the track, the band said, “This video is completely absurd --- a series of scenes in which I have the time of my life while doing silly things. At one point I dance with an enormous rubber ducky on the beach. It was really fun. The project came together when I was talking to my brother, Alex, on the phone and he said, "Let's do another music video." I had no idea about what, and I hadn't written a song in a year. So the prompt he gave me was: "Write a summer song that doesn't use the word 'just.'"

Turns out, I use "just" a lot in my songs. So that part was challenging. The rest was natural. It's the second video I've collaborated on with my brother, who is the videographer and director -- it's really special bringing our passions together into these projects. After watching this video, I hope people feel inspired to be themselves, spread good vibes always, and choose to live out their dreams no matter what.”

We feel pretty good, what about you? Check out the music video & spread some love with Flounder Warehouse! We’ve got their social media links down below!

Chicago’s very own Action/Adventure are here to turn pop punk upside down & right side up with their melodic, passionate vibe. The band is enjoying themselves after their most recent music video release for their track, “Parachute.”

The five piece premiered the track at ThePunkSit - an anthem to the Creatives in the hustle, and damnit we’re listening. Check out the energetic camaraderie of Action/Adventure in their music video for “Parachute,” down below!

“It's about confronting the unknown," says vocalist Blake Evaristo. "It’s really easy to have fears and doubts that prevent you from reaching your desires and goals; however, it takes real courage to attempt a try amongst all odds. We’re at this point in our lives where the band dream is dwindling, but we’ll be damned if we give up without a fight. We hope the video illustrates that. Shout out to all the cast, crew, and friends that made our first video a reality. We can’t thank them enough. We hope people enjoy the song and dig the video."

If this music video isn’t enough to quench your Action/Adventure thirst, check out their social media down below so you never miss a beat in what these guys have got coming their way!

FYKE Shares New Music Video

FYKE have been making huge gains as one of Universal Music Groups International Acts - and recently are celebrating the release of their music video for the single, “Till The End.” The track, much like others from FYKE, radiate a message highlighting social issues & positivity.

Comprised of Enik Lin, Steven Delman, Justin Wright, Mikee Fabella, and Gerard Christian, the band released their debut single "Favorite Mistake" in early 2017. Front man, Enik Lin, has produced/recorded and mixed all of the bands music with the support of Gene Gimaldi at Oasis Mastering.

Check out the music video for “Till The End” below!

Enik elaborates on the song, "'Till The End" is a song about dealing with anxiety and panic attacks. Anxiety disorders are estimated to affect 30 percent of adults (age 18-54) in America alone. almost half of that percentage is unreported due to misdiagnosis, people that choose not to seek help, and people that don't even know that they are currently suffering from an anxiety disorder. We wanted to write a song that brought attention to the symptoms of living with anxiety and the constant feeling of wanting to find a way to escape its grasp.”

Fit For A King's 'Oblivion' Reaches 1 Million Streams

Since their recently released album, Dark Skies, dropped, Fit For A King has been reaping the rewards. In under 1 week, the album has already surpassed 1 Million streams on Spotify, setting the band up for what could be the best first week in their 10-year history. To celebrate this achievement, featured track, “Oblivion,” now has an impressive music video to illustrate what we’ve all been feeling.

The emotional, heavy hitter of a track is musically and instrumentally unnerving. "Oblivion, on its own, is a very personal songs to me, but with this video, it's brought to a different level. The video shows how powerful forgiveness can be, and even when we don't think others deserve it, God does. This video definitely isn't for the faint of heart. But we believe it can show the power of forgiveness through the pain,” says the band of the music video, which you can check out below!

Dark Skies was produced and mixed by the legendary Drew Fulk (I Prevail, Motionless In White, Memphis May Fire.) Dark Skies is the band's evocative declaration of a hard won victory. "This album is far from happy. It's about personal struggles," explains singer Ryan Kirby.

Fit For A King will be hitting the road again next week when they join genre legends The Devil Wears Prada on their 10 Year Anniversary Tour of With Roots Above And Branches Below. Tour dates below!

a3592594348_16.jpg

Hailing from Long Island, NY Amanda Jayne has been bringing the energetic, emotional touch to her music since her debut album back in 2016. To wrap up 2017, however, Jayne has shared the second part to her first music video, 'Bruising.'

'Bruising Pt. II' video was filmed inside the Pollock-Krasner House in East Hampton, NY: the home to artists Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner. As the music and meaning converge, this historic landmark becomes the space that Jayne and her characters inhabit. In addition, the video was shot in one continuous take.

Check out the video below!

“This song and video are extremely personal to me,” says Jayne. “I am creating from
experience. Every detail you hear in ‘Bruising’ is accurate to the situation I was in. Making
this song has been a cathartic experience, and I’m glad I got to rework it to highlight the
themes and attract the listener even more.”

Flounder Warehouse Shares 'What To Do'

IMG_0062.jpg

Philadelphia & NYC prog-pop band, Flounder Warehouse recently shared their debut music video for single, "What To Do." The Femme-Fronted band is an emotional, cathartic experience that all at once feels large and small.

Check out the video below!

With your main instruments being a piano, violin and percussion you're getting an earful that is reminiscent of a singer/songwriter genre on a larger scale. According to front-woman Seann, "This project was really personal for me. The song is based off a life experience. It’s from the point of view of a woman who is falling in love with someone, but she is hesitant to reveal her feelings to him. As she’s struggling with that decision though, she is unaware that there is no real possibility for a future between them: he’s leaving, to somewhere she can’t follow. By the last verse, she discovers his impending departure, and she is sort of left helpless, scrambling with her emotions. Hence, “What to do”."

The video is a clean, clear representation of that. The warm, light colors open up a sense of vulnerability that can be shared between listener and musician which I can definitely appreciate. To keep up with Flounder Warehouse check out their social media links below, you definitely don't want to miss this one!

GRIMM. Debuts New Music Video 'Summerset Station'

lights.jpg

A blend of hip-hop & alternative rock, GRIMM. brings out the best of both genres in their brand new single "Summerset Station," off of upcoming EP, spectrum. The new track also has an exclusive music video you can watch below!

The track is an upbeat, 21 Pilots-esque anthem that you definitely want to check out. If you're familiar with the genre blending techniques of Linkin Park, 21 Pilots, or even locally grown band Civil Youth, then you're definitely going to dig this. The video isn't what it seems, but maybe you should watch it for yourself to figure it out.

According to GRIMM., "After years of writing, managing and playing for bands, Adam found his own voice that would be the inspiration behind a new perspective in mainstream music. Being diagnosed with Autism at the age of 6, Adam had always been treated differently. Dealing with a mandatory separation from class into a resource room where Adam spent his time writing music and helping his classmates that functioned at a lower level. He used his musical ability to become more social and gain the confidence to become the performer he knows he will be. GRIMM. wants to be an inspiration to kids with Autism who feel their disability is stopping them from achieving their goals in life."

Good, new & exciting music for a good cause is definitely the type of stuff we like to get behind. GRIMM is going to push the limits on genre bending, and we look forward to what's to come in the near future!

Stay tuned later this month when GRIMM anticipates to release spectrum, and check out their social media to keep up with all updates!

Moth Wings Shares 'Sleepy Eyes' Music Video

unnamed (5).jpg

Texas-based Moth Wings is an over the top rock band, ready to prove that they're more than just loud. They recently released their new single "Sleepy Eyes," a chilled out departure from their usual abrasive sound, accompanied by a stop motion music video. The track premiered with Idobi Radio and is from the new mixtape DragonFruit.

Check out the track & music video streaming below!

Frontman Spencer Fort says "When I went into 'DragonFruit' I spent a lot of time talking back and forth with myself. I remember asking myself 'Really? We're going to put the guitars down already?' And though it is not a permanent move by any means, it was still weird to start up a release with little to no guitar tracks. That's why we're treating it as a Mixtape more than an actual album, because I want the chance to express a side of myself that isn't masked so heavily in loud drums and distortion."

"This Mixtape is to be listened to more like a letter, from me to you," Fort continues. "I didn't clutter it up with noise and theatrics because I want people to be able to sit down and actually listen to what I'm saying, hopefully find a relation to it, or let it speak to them in a way that I haven't been able to previously. Some moments of 'DragonFruit' felt like an open nerve to record, and all I can ask is that someone understands it. This is my most honest work."

DragonFruit is available now on iTunes and Spotify.

Lead Guitarist Brandon Swanson says "It's a song written about the struggles and hardships of our day to day life, not just as musicians but as people. This song is for anyone who's been promised something that never came true and lost the will to keep fighting. We were all in a pretty dark place when this album was written, and I think this song especially reflects that."
