It’s been a little more than a month since Hannah Lorimer debuted her latest music video, “Rewind.” True to Lorimer’s style, you’re sure to feel smitten in just one listen with the songstress and her unique melody and lyricism.

The music video takes on the sweet song in a carefree, vibrant way. Shot by Terrance Harding, and produced by Fortune West, the video lights up the song in an ethereal way. Taking place on the Atlantic City boardwalk, it embodies summer, love, and laughter. Lorimer’s prior tracks, like single “Alive,” are impressive precursors to this bubbly anthemic tune, and we’re so excited that “Rewind” is joining our ever expanding playlist!

We’re hoping (and you should be hoping, too) that this track is bringing forth a collection of songs from one of our favorite singers and collaborators. Based in Philadelphia, PA, Hannah has an extensive background in songwriting, teaching, chorus work, harmonizing and otherwise. An unstoppable woman with the voice of a sweet, sweet angel - count us in!

You can keep up to date with Hannah on her private social media, or on youtube. Feel free to look her up and listen good, because she’s someone you’re not going to want to miss!

In Place Share Their Latest Single "Spiral Daze" With Listeners

Philadelphia's very own instrumental duo, In Place, have recently released their newest single "Spiral Daze" for fans and listeners!

Recorded out of the band’s home studio, the song is the byproduct of a brief moment of life’s pressure pushing down all at once. "The beginning riff symbolizes the intensity while the acoustic at the end is the release of that," says In Place.

Check out the single, "Spiral Daze" below!

In Place is made up of childhood friends Brandon Cassel and Justin Leggio. Focused on electric guitar and drums, they incorporate brass, percussion, and bass elements performed by friends of the two. The sound has been described as moody, filled with peaks and valleys of tension and release, and that instills a sense of nostalgia and reflection in the listener.

If you're digging this and wondering when you can catch In Place live, you can catch them on July 20th at Front Street Cafe performing with QQQ and Shy. There will be artwork by Cody Bluett as well, so you're in for a treat!

New Single Out from Caretaker

Caretaker is a new art-rock band on the rise, based in Brooklyn and ready to release their debut single, “Swallow.” Caretaker formed in 2016, and they are made up of Erin Pellnat on lead vocals, Eva Lawitts on bass, Alex Pulakos on guitar, Damian Sim on keyboard, and Chris Kasnow on drums.

With their first official single, Caretaker aims to show the world just who they are as musicians. They like rock songs with infectious energy, and “Swallow” certainly fits the bill.

Speaking on their new single, Caretaker had this to say: “’Swallow’ is a song about being trapped in a relationship where someone is successful in convincing you that you are constantly wrong. This gets to the point where you believe everything they say, gladly taking punishment and abuse from them and wrongfully accepting that you deserve it. You know that you would feel completely contented and sane if you just cut ties so that their influence can disappear and you can set yourself free.”

With a powerful message that’s sure to speak to the souls of hundreds of fans, “Swallow” is a promising debut for Caretaker and leaves us all wondering what we’ll get to hear from them next. They have a couple of live shows coming up in New York, so catch them if you can and don’t miss your chance to hear “Swallow” performed live!

6/19 – Pinebox Rock Shop – Brooklyn, NY
8/19 – Arlene’s Grocery – New York, NY
