Crazy Bones Release Video For "Melting"

A fresh dedication to 90’s grunge, Crazy Bones’ Melting gives you that ketamine lined heavy duty sound reminiscent of early Soundgarden with a hints of Queens of the Stone age. The song was written to describe a beachfront scene when the ocean looked to be melting the reflections on its surface. It created a feeling of wanting to join the scenery and melt away with it.

Check out "Melting" below!

The setting sun above the ocean distorts the colors and shows us how reality can vary from where you’re standing. That feeling of melting isn’t always careless and euphoric. Many times its accompanied by a certain helplessness and panic. Crazy bones has captured that feeling and still manages to rock with the energy of an upset Rottweiler.

According to the band, The EP will be out “soon” so until then, do your best to catch them touring on the dates below!

Crazy Bones Tour Dates:
March 2 Toronto- Bovine Sex Club W/Brenda, Jean Daddy, Milhouse

Super Group Neaux Stream Debut Album

Perhaps the stars aligned when Neaux was formed, as the band is comprised of musicians scattered throughout the music industry – yet together, they’re able to produce a rich and crunchy 90’s-esque sound that gets you bobbing your head. What’s even better, is that they’re currently streaming their first album, Fell Off The Deep End, in full on

“Old friends making new noise.”

The grunge-y, shoegaze-y “alternative” rock outfit is made up of Sierra Kay (VersaEmerge), Nick Fit (Trash Talk, Loss Leader), Ryan Briggs (Have Heart) and Chris Peters. What’s cool about this line-up is that they befriended each other while sharing the stage at Warped Tour. Years later, Nick and Sierra decided they wanted to collaborate and now, they’ve become a band to look out for in 2016 – a fun and exciting tale bound to inspire.

Neaux’s 8-song effort, Fell Off The Deep End is being pressed and distributed through a boutique label, Iron Pier, and will be available this Friday, September 16th.

In the mean time, keep up with Neaux on their social media below!

Self Defense Family Stream New Song

Self Defense Family is about to release their new mini-LP, Colicky, on September 9th via Iron Pier. They've just released a new song from it on the BBC Radio One Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter, and it's also available for streaming on SoundCloud!

The new song is called “It Isn't Very Clear, Is It?” which circles around a droney and fuzzed-out riff and airy, static-charged vocals from lead Patrick Kindlon (a founding member of noise-rock punk outfit Drug Church).

The new mini-LP, Colicky, is available for pre-order right now!

Self Defense Family is one of the more interesting and innovative post-hardcore punk bands in recent memory, being able to use outside influence to really change up the genre and their specific sound. While the band is usually held together by Kindlon, it's loosely comprised of widespread musicians throughout Europe and the U.S. There are almost two dozen current and past members of the band, and anyone in that roster who is available during a tour or a recording session end up hopping on to that particular project. No single member of the band has appeared in every recording or show.
