After tireless hard work & dedication, we are excited to announce the celebration of a debut release from Philadelphia’s own, Hannah Lorimer.

The Illinois native has been creating, performing and supporting local music & artists since 2013 here in Philadelphia - and has now, finally, put out her debut single, “Alive.” The track is sweet, sultry, and romantic in all ways that we’ve all always known & loved with Lorimer’s music. The singer & songwriter has really crafted something special & unique, which can be a feat in itself: a track that shows off Lorimer’s distinct sound.

Check it out below!

“Alive” is upbeat, but remains grounded in gentle lyricism, and the powerhouse that is Lorimer’s voice. There isn’t a single moment in the song where you’re questioning where Lorimer is bringing you. It feels confident, fluid & matured, as if Hannah herself knows that the content she is putting out is content that needs to be heard - and so, we hear it.

The 5-minute long track is what we hope is the first of many, whether that be more singles, or even a full album. Either way, Hannah Lorimer is always gigging here in Philadelphia, and we’ve included her social media down below so you never miss a beat!

GRIMM. Debuts New Music Video 'Summerset Station'

A blend of hip-hop & alternative rock, GRIMM. brings out the best of both genres in their brand new single "Summerset Station," off of upcoming EP, spectrum. The new track also has an exclusive music video you can watch below!

The track is an upbeat, 21 Pilots-esque anthem that you definitely want to check out. If you're familiar with the genre blending techniques of Linkin Park, 21 Pilots, or even locally grown band Civil Youth, then you're definitely going to dig this. The video isn't what it seems, but maybe you should watch it for yourself to figure it out.

According to GRIMM., "After years of writing, managing and playing for bands, Adam found his own voice that would be the inspiration behind a new perspective in mainstream music. Being diagnosed with Autism at the age of 6, Adam had always been treated differently. Dealing with a mandatory separation from class into a resource room where Adam spent his time writing music and helping his classmates that functioned at a lower level. He used his musical ability to become more social and gain the confidence to become the performer he knows he will be. GRIMM. wants to be an inspiration to kids with Autism who feel their disability is stopping them from achieving their goals in life."

Good, new & exciting music for a good cause is definitely the type of stuff we like to get behind. GRIMM is going to push the limits on genre bending, and we look forward to what's to come in the near future!

Stay tuned later this month when GRIMM anticipates to release spectrum, and check out their social media to keep up with all updates!

Sad Vegan Debut New Track

California born & bred quintet, Sad Vegan, have recently shared their brand new, surprisingly upbeat single, "New Years, No Fears."

The newest single from their upcoming debut EP Another Life, Another Day. The track "New Years, No Fears" premiered with Fresh Beats 365 and follows the EP's first single "Palm Trees" (streaming here). The catchy tune is offset by some seedier subject matter, where the perspective of a one night stand is shared from both sides!

Check out "New Years, No Fears," below!

New Years, No Fears is basically about hooking up with someone one last time before deciding that it’s time to settle down and show commitment to someone else and the regret that comes along with doing that,” explains guitarist and vocalist Bailey Blanton. “That incident also happened to take place on New Years Day so the name seemed fitting. My favorite thing about the song is that it switches from the male perspective of the situation to the female’s.

Check out the song above, and then follow Sad Vegan's social media for more on the band and what they're up to!

Ray Hodge Announces Debut EP

Jamaica, Queens native and indie soul pop phenom, Ray Hodge, has recently announced the release of his debut EP, Braveheart, due out October 28th. Ray made this announcement by dropping a teaser of his music video for “I Am King,” a single off the EP, which you can check out below!

On describing Braveheart, Ray shared his excitement for the work: "Each song on the EP contains a theme of learning how to overcome obstacles and to love yourself. Yes, they are inspired by situations that can be seen as sad, however, these tracks are meant to leave you with hope and the awakening of that warrior, king or queen within you. When I wrote the songs, hope and faith was born from a place in me I thought to be dead. All things must come to end but nothing truly dies - that's one thing I've learned in this process, so it's an amazing feeling I'm excited to share."

Otherwise, while the world eagerly awaits Ray Hodge’s debut effort, you can keep up with him on his social media below!

GIIA Debuts Single

Boston bred indie elctro-pop singer GIIA makes a splash in the electronic music industry by unleashing her new single “Burning Game,” produced by MEMBA.

Exclusively released with Paste Magazine, the earworm highlights her vocal range and delivers a spine chillingly dark vibe intertwined in a moving beat. The song emphasizes toxic relationships and bad habits. GIIA explains: "...any situation that makes you feel stuck. Instead of coming to your senses, getting out of it and moving on, you fall right back in. Falling back into old habits because it's easier than walking away. When I thought of how that feels I immediately thought of the image of a flame. Something that looks so enticingly beautiful from the outside but when you're in the thick of it, it will hurt and wear you away. Hence the name 'Burning Game.'"

Emma Giarrusso, famously known as GIIA, entered the electronic world through her debut feature on MEMBA’s single “One” in June 2016 and from there, has made her mark in the industry. The song was featured on AXS, This Song Slaps, Dancing Astronaut’s Top Trending Chart, and Run The Trap. Her music is heavily influenced by both trap and pop; she takes the two and creates a brand new sound. She began her pursuit at a very young age, starting her early vocal training in the opera. She later attended the Berklee College of music to study contemporary voice.

"I was trained classically in the Opera genre, so that that part of my voice comes out in my music. It's a unique sound when mixed with the electronic sound. While listening to my music, I want people to be dancing in their rooms, humming the melodies," states GIIA.

After moving to New York City, she began writing music for local producers which urged her to begin making music for herself. She’s currently preparing to release her singles in bulk, this time blending pop, trap, and operatic, and contemporary music.
