MISFITS Guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein Announces World Tour

Doyle

Gearing up for the release of Doyle II: As We Die (available May 5th, 2017), legendary Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein has officially announced the Abominate The World Tour 2017. Starting June first, Doyle will be rocking the continental US until June 29th accompanied by Davey Suicide.

Hailing from Lodi, a small borough of Bergen County, New Jersey, Doyle is revered as the originator of Horror Punk. His first album, Abominator, released under his own label, Monsterman Records, according to Randy Blythe (Lamb Of God) “is a sonically thick and lyrically evil slab of metal that finds Doyle expanding in a logical progression upon the genre of music he helped create.” Fronted by Cancerslug vocalist Alex Story, Doyle’s shows are just as brutal and evil as his recordings, if not more. Alex’s ability to sing and scream, the unmistakeable sound of Doyle’s Annihilator guitar, and aggressive drummer Brandon “The Crusher” Pertzborn (Black Flag) make for a technically proficient and absolutely relentless performance every time.

Be sure to catch Doyle on the Abominate The World Tour 2017.

With a newfound sound that can be matched by no other, one listen to All That Matters and the listener will see what they have been missing out on. With the band shooting for the stars, it shouldn't take much before they are a household name around the world.

For anyone who has dealt with a situation where they have put in tons of work and effort to maintain their status to another person and got nothing in return, this song is for you. We believe that people from all walks of life can relate to the message in this song.” - Jeremy Muse (Guitarist)

WRONG Cancel European Tour

In the midst of their North American tour with Nothing and Culture Abuse, the Miami noise rock quartet WRONG have come forth bearing unfortunate news: due to as-yet-undetermined circumstances, they have been forced to cancel their upcoming European tour dates. Here's a message from the band.

This is a total upset for us and we send our sincerest apologies to everyone who was involved and booked the shows. Our boys in Centuries are still heading over and everyone should go see them because they kick ass. Thanks to everyone for the support and understanding. We will make this up and be in Europe as soon as we can.

- the wrong crew

The cancelled tour and the current US tour were intended to be in support of WRONG’s self-titled debut album, which they released on April 29th through Relapse Records. This is the band’s second release, the first being their 2014 debut Stop Giving EP. Both releases are now available on their Bandcamp for you to purchase/stream.

Despite the fact that the band is no longer playing in Europe, they did say they will make it up to their fans across the Atlantic. Also, the current tour is still going for four more days:

6.30 Birmingham, AL- Seasick Records

7.01 Atlanta, GA- Masquerade

7.02 Tampa, FL- Local 662

7.03 Orlando, FL- Backbooth

If you can catch them at any of these dates, do yourself a favor and go see this band. Regardless, be sure to follow them on social media to keep up with their latest happenings and to possibly find out when they’re touring Europe (not that it’d matter, because you’re most likely in the U.S. of A.) and elsewhere. As always, stay tuned for more sludgey supremacy!
