Mansell Release New Video, 'Ghost'

Three-piece indie rock band Mansell recently released a music video for their single “Ghost,” which comes off their new album Mantra. Mantra landed a spot on the iTunes Top 100 Alt Chart, and “Ghost” is one of eight songs on the album that shows why Mansell deserved the spot. The music video for the song was brought into existence by a friend of the band, John Gray, who came up with the concept for the video and helped bring it to life. On working with John, Mansell vocalist Holden Fincher said, “We all feel like kin to one another, so the understanding and chemistry there on multiple levels was a comfort in letting another artist interpret your music emotionally the way John did.”

The location for the music video was an abandoned denim factory in Georgia, which fits with the dreamy vibe of the song. Creating the video was a project that involved family, friends, and other artists close to Mansell, and Holden Fincher describes the finished product as being “like a Basquiat and Warhol collab or salty fries with a chocolate shake.”
