Great Shapes Release New Music Video, Announce Tour Dates

Great Shapes are a renegade pop group from El Paso. They’ve just put out a new music video for “Brightness.” The track is the lead single from their new album Brightness.

Great Shapes formed in 2013. They fuse the indie pop sound with some more synths, and an upbeat vibe that is sure to get you dancing. Great Shapes has a pretty impressive resume already, touring nationally with bands such as Deluxe, Moving Units, The Chain Gang of 1974, New Young Pony Club, Gardens & Villa, WILDCAT! WILDCAT!, and Stepdad.  Brightness is pretty promising as well, it was engineered by Justin Leeah at Sound + Vision Studios (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, At the Drive-In, Conor O'berst). It was also mastered by Grammy winner Joe LaPorta (David Bowie, Twin Shadow, The Killers, Foo Fighters).

So as you can tell from what you’ve heard, in addition to the record’s incredible credentials, Brightness has a great sound and is one to listen to for sure. The album is available right now on iTunes and Spotify.

In addition to the new record, Great Shapes are currently on a Texas/southern tour. You can check out the dates right here and see if they’ll be coming to a town near you!
