Nashville based theatrical scamp-rockers Fable Cry have recently released two new music videos from their latest album We’ll Show You Where the Monsters Are. The videos for “Dead or Alive (For Now)” and “The Good Doctor” both show off the theatrics and old-school horror sensibilities that the band is known for!
Fable Cry appeared on the cover of the June 2016 issue of Popcorn Horror Magazine, and their frontman Zach Ferrin had this to say about the video for “Dead or Alive (For Now), “We are definitely inspired by [silent movies]. When I write songs, the visuals always come right along with them. Each of us retells our haunted stories, and eventually reveal that we are the very monsters that we describe. It took hours of making and painting sets, painting ourselves, and then compiling it into a cohesive mess. It was one of our most involved videos to date, but definitely among the most fun to make.”
The hard work pays off, and Fable Cry’s nod to the horror films of yesteryear shines through brilliantly. If you live in the Nashville area, you can check Fable Cry out live August 11 in Nashville. Otherwise, check out their Facebook for more!
