Dirt Fest Announces Addition Of Born Of Osiris

Since the late 1960’s, the Midwest has been a breeding ground for heavy music. The Dirt Fest, presented by 101 WRIF, is a perfect example of Michigan’s hardcore music scene today.

The festival has just recently added Born of Osiris and For The Fallen Dreams. These two Mid-Western bands are joining heavy hitters such as Killswitch Engage and Hatebreed to tear up the stage at Dirt Fest.

Born of Osiris has been blowing away the metal scene since 2003 with their intense live shows and their explosive records. Their latest album released in October 2015, Soul Sphere, is their last release since 2013. With many lineup changes they were able to keep on trucking and make rad tunes.

Along with Born of Osiris, Michigan’s For The Fallen Dreams is added to the bill, a band that since 2003, has been tearing up the metalcore scene. Through many lineup changes and label changes, these guys are still going strong like Born of Osiris.

Dirt Fest is known for taking on Mid-Western heavy music bands such as Battlecross and See You Next Tuesday. They are on their 19th year of keeping the hardcore local music of the Midwest alive. The festival is being held at the Crofoot Festival Grounds in Pontiac, Michigan Saturday August 13th.
