Experimental doom band SubRosa are very excited to announce the release of their newest album, For This We Fought The Battle of the Ages, due for release on August 26th through Profound Lore. Records

SubRosa formed in 2005 and released their debut album, The Worm Has Turned, the following year. Rebecca Vernon, guitarist and creative lead for the band, kept refining the lineup and her songwriting abilities with each subsequent release, which lead up to the ground-breaking full-length debut, No Help For The Mighty Ones in 2011.

Their 2016 release follows 2013's More Constant Than the Gods, which brought the band recognition and critical acclaim. It's been said this new album will bring even more fans to one of the most prominent progressive metal bands in the American scene.
