Alt-Pop band, Veridia, has released a new music video for their successful single, "Pretty Lies".
Veridia's 2015 EP Pretty Lies spent an impressive 26 weeks in the Top 10 of the Billboard charts last year and 6 weeks at number 1!
This track and video features Matty Mullens, from Memphis May Fire, showcasing a new vocal style from what he is usually heard delivering. The subject of the video is about clearing up the perception that people have of each other during this era of social media profiles.
"I was inspired to write 'Pretty Lies' because I was basically overwhelmed with the fact that I compared myself to other people," said Deena Jakoub, the frontwoman of Veridia. "The underlying message behind the video is that we waste too much time comparing ourselves to other people and images of people that aren't real. I wanted Matty's voice on it to represent the other side that we don't normally think about, that guys go through this too."
