New York four-piece alt-rockers Midnight Mob have just released a new music video for their song "Ghosts" off of their long-awaited EP, Honest Brutal Glorious.
The video was directed by Adam Bailey, and the look of the setting inspired the band to put on a great video performance, capturing a spirit of live energy that's difficult to catch. Midnight Mob is fronted by raspy-voiced powerhouse, Blackey Deathproof who had this to say on the recent music video, "Director Adam Bailey really did a lovely job with this video. I leave a shanty home and step into the deep dark twisted woods. We came across this group of massive fallen trees from Hurricane Sandy that just looked like an impossible scary tangled mess. That's exactly how I felt!," she continues. "I eventually climb through it but then I'm confronted by these lights and running for dear life. Am I running from my problems or afraid of the solution and what it will cost us? Eventually after running I turn and face it whatever it is. Is it a friend or foe? What would it be for you?"
"Ghosts" features exciting visuals, moody woods and frightening lights to represent the entangled problems of life, all the while band plays along with their unique bluesy punk riff. Check out the video below!
