The Used Announce Upcoming Album

The Used have announced they will be releasing their seventh studio album titled, The Canyon due out October 27th on Hopeless Records. Produced by Ross Robinson (The Cure, At The Drive In), the 17-track album is the most raw, unadulterated and personal piece of art the band has ever released.

The Canyon will take fans on a lyrical journey through the intimate psyche of Bert McCracken.

"I've learned as an artist that a great idea is such a gift. If I don't stop whatever it is I'm doing, even if while driving, if I don't pull over at that moment, then maybe I didn't deserve the idea to begin with. I learned to respect and worship the ideas in that way, that they are and will always be something sacred. Stopping in that moment was a brand new approach for us during this process" says McCracken.

Violet Sands Share New Video

Following the June 30th release of their debut album, Hotel, Violet Sands are now sharing a futuristic noir music video for hit single “Drive.” The video, directed by Christian Haberkern, draws on the band’s nostalgic 90s influences and perfectly captures the mood of the song.

We follow the journey of a girl (actress Julia Vasi) through vibrant desert landscapes toward the Violet Sands Hotel, which is enhanced by Haberkern’s stunning visual effects.

Check it out below

The video premiered with One’s To Watch who hailed it saying, “Violet Sands perfectly encapsulates the magic of driving with no sense of direction or destination.” The song ‘Drive’ was started while Derek was still living in California, and it kept a lot of its warm, desert-highway vibe as it traveled to Brooklyn.

Frosty and monochromatic, the single’s accompanying video (directed by Jai Love) encapsulates Death Bells’ fascination with the wispy romanticism of the ‘80s.

Check it out below!

Brighter Than A Thousand Suns Releases Music Video

unnamed (1).jpg

Imminence Management Group's synth-rock/post-hardcore outfit Brighter Than A Thousand Suns has recently shared their brand new music video. "What's Inside" is the second single and music video from the recently released EP entitled The Way Out.

Check it out below!

"When writing “What’s Inside”, I was thinking a lot about alienation and how, in the name of acceptance, we often live our lives as the people others wish us to be, squelching and squandering a lot of our potential. Nathaniel Branden once said “Do not allow anyone to tell you for what purpose you should live. To be happy and fulfilled, you do need a purpose, but let it rise out of who you are.” This song is our anthem to that idea,” says Randy Roswell (Guitars/Programming/Synthesizers).

The band elaborates, "If you listen to our new record, you will hear that we draw inspiration from everyday life. We tackle a wide range of topics on Always Hope, but it can really be summed up by saying 'this is what it means to go through life in your 20's, in today's world.' We didn't shy away from any of the more intense topics either." The main goal is to connect with people through music, by delivering a sense of hope and positivity by opening up about some tough situations brings a sense of rawness to the lyrics and sound. Album Announcement Comes From Roam Along With New Single

ROAM has officially announced they are releasing their second album titled Great Heights & Nosedives on October 13th, 2017 via Hopeless Records. The first single from the album, "Playing Fiction", premiered in the UK on BBC's Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter and can now be streamed on Spotify and Apple Music.

Check out the music video for it below!

Alex Adam (Guitar / Vocals) explains the thinking behind the track, "Playing Fiction is really a song about pretending, and the realization that things aren't always how they seem. Maybe you're pretending you're ok, saying nothing's wrong when it actually is, or, as is the case in Playing Fiction, you're pretending a relationship hasn't run its course when it has.

The video for the song centers around myself and Costello walking through a town with strange scenes appearing as the day progresses. It all builds towards our realization that we're stuck in a fairytale daydream, and we end up being a part of the fantastical world. It was a lot of fun to shoot with all our friends and some cheeky special extras in various costumes. We'll let you guess as to their identities..."

The album is now available for pre-order through the band's site, or on iTunes with an instant grat download of "Playing Fiction" here.
